A Cleaning Company Built on Hospitality

Before founding Ludlow Cleaning Co., Michelle Martinez spent more than 20 years working across two of the most detail-driven industries there are: event planning and hospitality. In event planning, she managed high-stakes productions where every surface, every setup, and every last detail had to be right before the first guest arrived — because in that world, there are no second chances. In hospitality, she worked within environments built around one standard: the guest should feel that everything was done specifically for them.

Those two decades shaped how Michelle thinks about a clean space. Not as a checklist. As an experience. She learned that the difference between a room that's been “cleaned” and one that makes you feel genuinely at ease comes down to the things most people don't notice until they're missing: a baseboard that's actually wiped, a surface staged rather than just wiped down, a bathroom that smells clean instead of just looking clean.

When she founded Ludlow Cleaning Co. in El Dorado Hills in 2024, she wasn't trying to build the biggest cleaning company in Sacramento. She was trying to bring hospitality standards to an industry that had largely abandoned them — and to prove that a small, intentional team with the right training and the right values could out-deliver any franchise.

Today, Ludlow serves homeowners, professional offices, dental and medical practices, Airbnb and VRBO hosts, senior living communities, and real estate clients throughout El Dorado Hills, Folsom, Cameron Park, Roseville, and Rancho Cordova. The team is small by design. The work is personal by choice.
